"I bought my kit about a year ago..."
I bought my kit about a year ago and then completely forgot it was sitting on a shelf in the garage. I pulled it out this weekend fully expecting it to be dried up or useless by now.
To my surprise, it still mixed up fine and the paint match looked just like it did before. Even the sealant pen was still usable, which I didn’t expect.
I really like that it doesn’t go bad quickly. It makes it worth keeping around for the next little rock chip. Easy 5 stars from me

They answered way faster than I expected and there wasn’t any hassle at all. Just warning others in case you’re expecting a long back-and-forth, my experience was smooth and straightforward.

"Decent for small chips, not so much for scratches"
I tried Dr ColorChip on a few scratches and little chips on my bumper. The color match was actually close, and the chips do look better if you’re standing a few feet away. But for the longer scratches, it didn’t really cover them the way I was hoping. They’re still noticeable in sunlight, and it took a good amount of fiddling to get it looking halfway decent. I feel like nobody really reads this kind of thing, but it’s not bad, just definitely has its limits.

It was easy to find my paint code on the site!!! They had my code listed, which was a relief!!! Shipping did take a little longer than I expected, but overall it worked out fine!!!

"Decent kit, packing could be better"
The kit showed up okay, but the box was literally beat up when it got here. Thankfully nothing leaked or was damaged, so that was a relief. I do think they could add better packing inside though. Overall, it’s not bad, just kind of average.

"Pretty happy in the end"
In the end, I was happy with how they handled everything. The color was a little off the first time, so I emailed them about it. They didn’t make it awkward or give me a hard time—they just sent out a replacement kit. The second one worked much better, so overall it turned out fine.

I’ve tried a couple other touch-up paint places before and usually end up waiting longer than I’d like, so this was a nice surprise. No hassle, no sitting around wondering when it would arrive, just a smooth, quick experience overall

"Pretty Easy Fix for Small Chips"
I used Dr. ColorChip on a few little chips on my hood, i was kind of thinking, “Okay, let’s see if this actually works.” It turned out to be straightforward. The instructions were easy enough to follow, and the extra paint wiped off cleaner than I expected, which was a nice surprise. It took me a few tries to get the feel for it, but it wasn’t difficult. From a normal distance, it looks really good. Up close, sure, it’s not absolutely perfect, but I kept looking at it thinking, “Yeah, that’s way better than staring at those chips.” Overall, I’m happy with it.

"Good kit, but be fair about the coverage"
The kit itself worked fine and did the job, so I can’t really complain there. I just ended up needing more than I expected, because the coverage estimate felt a bit optimistic. It would be decent if that were made a little clearer up front so people can plan properly

"Everything I Needed in One Kit"
I got the kit and it came with pretty much everything I needed, plus a few little extras I hadn’t even thought about. It made the whole thing way easier since I didn’t have to run out to the store for random stuff. The instructions were simple to follow too. Overall, really happy with it.

"Clear and easy to follow"
The directions on drcolorchip.com were really clear and easy to follow. I knew what I needed to do before I even started which made the whole thing a lot less stressful. Nothing felt over complicated just simple steps that actually made sense.

My order came in a reasonable amount of time and the color was close, so that part was fine. One of the pieces in the kit wasn’t exactly what I thought I had picked, but maybe I just missed something when I placed the order. It still works okay for small chips, though it aren’t perfect. Next time I would definitely double check all the order details before buying

"Good Overall, Just Not Flawless"
To be fair, it does look smooth enough from a normal distance and I’m generally happy with it. Up close, though, you can notice a few imperfections, so I wouldn’t call it perfect. Still, for what it is, I think it’s a decent result.

"Dried Fast but Took a While to Fully Cure"
It dried quick at first so I thought it was basically done, but then the full cure ended up taking longer than I expected and I had to give it more time before it really felt ready.

"Great match for my older Honda"
I ordered this kit for my older Honda, and the paint match was just spot on. I was worried it might be a little off, but once it dried, I could barely tell where the chips had been. It took me just a bit of practice to get the hang of it, but the color itself was really accurate. Happy with how it turned out

"Applicator worked really well, I think"
The applicator felt solid in my hand and was easy enough to use, which is exactly what you’d want, right? I didn’t have any issues with it, and overall it worked great for what I needed.
